Grades 3-7 7v7 League

Two age divisions introduce young athletes to the excitement of 7v7 field hockey through instruction and game play. Each session includes 30 minutes of skill‑building practice followed by a 30‑minute 7v7 game, giving players a mix of learning, repetition and real-game experience. Players will be divided into appropriate divisions once registration is closed and we have a better idea of numbers.

• 7v7 format: Small‑sided play encourages movement, more touches and opportunities to learn the flow of the game.
• Structured 60‑minute sessions: Half practice, half game, designed to reinforce skills immediately through play.
• Age‑appropriate coaching: Drills, games and challenges tailored to developing players in grades 3–7.
• Defined teams: Athletes build confidence, friendships and team identity throughout the season.
• Recreational and welcoming: Ideal for beginners and returning players, with an emphasis on fun, growth and sportsmanship.

We will run three (3), one hour sessions on the turf fields at D-Y Middle School from 5PM to 8PM on Wednesday evenings for six weeks starting July 8, 2026. Exact time slots will be confirmed after registration is closed and we know how many have registered for each age division.
